I called my grandma Honey.
She was known for making old-fashioned fudge. At Christmas, everyone received their own tin full. It seemed every year the number of tins that she filled and gave away grew.
In her later years, she needed help keeping up with the tradition but wouldn't give it up because it brought her so much joy. That's where I come in. I was fortunate enough to learn 'My Grandma's Recipe'.
She has since passed,
everyone still gets their tin full of Christmas fudge,
and my grandkids now call me Honey!
